Parents, we have changed the Kids MMA Class(no uniform) on Monday and moved it to Tuesday and on Monday, it will be Kids BJJ Class(uniform). We have also added a Kids MMA Class on Thursday. Now, we have a kids class Monday thru Friday from 5 – 6pm and the schedule is as follows:

This schedule begins on Monday, January 24, 2012. If you child is training two or three days per week and you would like to increase him/her to four or five classes per week, get with the coach for prices. Also, make sure that your children bring their mouthpiece. Thanks

July 09, 2011, the BJJ tournament took place at Humble High School. Team McCall/HGA(Houston Grappling Academy) did very good! Here are the results:
Children 7,8,9 yr old
Mariah Batres- 1st place gi division. She was in there against the boys 
Irish Prochaska- 3rd place gi division
Lestre Batres and Dylan McCall- Lester beat Dylan 10 to 8 to get 1st place and Dylan took home 2nd place in the gi division
Devin McCall, Felix Lozano, and Damian Cantu all fought hard and did a good job, but came up short.
Teens 15,16,17
Darren McCall(green belt)- 3rd place. He went up against a couple of higher ranking and very good blue belts and held his own. He even escaped a very tight top mounted triangle, and almost had a couple of sweeps.
Jonathon Mears did not place but he was really close on some flying armbars and triangles but could not finish them. He made his opponents sweat!

On April 09, 2011, several new students competed and did well. They put up a good fight. James K. (juvenile div) got 2nd place while Irisch P. (kids div.) got 1st place in gi division and 1st in no-gi division.
