Summer Camp

We are having summer camp at McCall MMA this summer beginnning on June 4 and ending on July 27th. There are multiple weeks to choose from which allows you to pick one week or all of those weeks. This is a way to give your child something to do during the summer hours while you are working or if not working. Also, this is an opportunity for them to get more training. Look under Summer Camp on the website for more information. Register by May 20, 2012 to receive a discount!

Promotions

McCall MMA has its first female blue belt. Liz C was promoted to blue belt on April 17, 2012. She has done an awesome job in training, helping others learn, plus being a force out there on the BJJ tournament scene. Also, Darren M. II was promotied to blue belt on April 19, 2012. He has done an excellent job when he competes with his few weeks of training. Congratulations!! Now, train harder.

John “Jr.” Villalobos had a true war with Chad “The Joker” Martin at the Legacy Fights held at the House of Blues on Saturday night, April 14, 2012. Jr. won two out of the three rounds but had a point deducted for a kick to the face of an opponent that had a knee on the floor. That point deduction allowed Chad Martin to end up with a draw. Pictures show the real winner. Excellent Job!!

School’s New Location

The other location is complete. Just waiting on the AC unit to be installed which should be completed by May 07, 2012. We should be moved by May 15, 2012. It is located at 6730 Atascocita Rd. #109, Humble, Tx. 77346, in the Ling’s Chinese Buffet strip center. It is about 4 miles east of our current location. We will keep you updated.
