Darren McCall - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 1st Degree Black Belt & Judo Black Belt: Under the guidance of Romero “Jacare” Cavalcanti, we are the Houston representative school for Alliance Jiu-Jitsu. www.alliancebjj.com

I began my grappling training in 1994 when I began Judo. I received my black belt 5yrs later, in 1999. After that accomplishment, I wanted to get more involved in submission wrestling and I began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I fell in love with it. I received my black belt in 2007 and promoted to 1st degree black belt in 2010. Now, I want to share my knowledge and enjoy watching others learn.

Don Mouser - Assistant BJJ Instructor:

Don Mouser ( 4 stripe brown belt) has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for nearly ten years. He is a technical practitioner that weighs over 200 lbs and moves as if he was a middle weight. His knowledge of the game and flowing style has rubbed off on many students.

Aldo Celis - Assistant BJJ Instructor:

Aldo Celis (3 stripe purple belt) has been dedicated to the sport for 6 years and is a very technical and knowledgeable instructor. Many people say that he explains the techniques in a way that makes it easy to comprehend. 

Jim Jones – Muay Thai Kickboxing Instructor:

He has been training in martial arts since he began with Kung Fu in 1992. He holds a 2nd striped brown belt in Kung Fu. He also holds a 2nd degree black belt in Yang Ki Yin Jiu- Jitsu. This style has many influences such as Jeet Kune Do, Kickboxing, Pekiti Tirisia Knife Fighting and Gun Disarmament. It is considered the ultimate in street self defense. For the past 8 yrs, he has been training in Muay Thai Kickboxing. Jim also holds the rank of 1 stripe blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he is also technical. Now, he wants to teach what he has learned over the past years. He gives thanks to the martial arts for achieving goals in his life, not only in fitness, but in family and business as well.
